The UC480 has quickly become a customer favorite, thanks to its versatile style that complements any décor and its ultra-soft biscuit-style backrest. Featuring thoughtfully designed armrests and a supportive full-chaise pad, the Easy Living Tranquility Lift Chair ensures long-lasting comfort. Built in a medium size with a 375 lb. weight capacity, the UC480 is a three-position chair that reclines to the "napper" position when the footrest is raised. Available in four standard fabrics, it can be shipped immediately in select colors. The UC480 also offers an optional two-motor heat and vibrating massage system as part of our In-Stock program.
Every UltraComfort lift and recline chair features an easy-to-use battery backup system in the electrical transformer, which operates on two 9-volt batteries. In the event of a power failure, the battery system will raise the chair from the reclined to the seated position one time.

With the easy to use battery backup system, each UltraComfort recliner has a battery backup system in the electrical transformer which operates on two 9 volt batteries. In the event of a power failure, the battery system will raise the chair from the reclined to the seated position. The batteries should be replaced after one use just to be safe.

UltraComfort America backs all of their products with the best warranties in the industry. Although we do not expect you to have any repair issues with our products, should an issue arise, UltraComfort has you covered. In most instances, you will be able to diagnose an issue over the phone, saving you valuable time and money. Shipping Information:
Typically, your order will arrive within 4 to 7 days (with free shipping on orders over $200). For orders under $200, there is a flat shipping fee of $15.
We only offer shipping within the United States at this time; international shipping is not available.
Most of our orders are shipped using third-party freight carriers (18-wheelers). If your order includes items shipped via freight, we’ll contact you to arrange a curbside delivery time. Please ensure you provide the correct phone number at checkout.

Timeframe for Returns: You can return items within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, we unfortunately cannot accept returns.
Shipping Costs for Returns : If your item is defective or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping costs. If you're returning an item just because you've changed your mind, you'll be responsible to handle the shipping costs yourself.
Items that are Defective or Damaged: If your item is not functioning properly or is damaged, please notify us within 30 days. We’ll arrange for a return at no extra charge for you. Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll either send a replacement or issue a refund, including the original shipping cost.
Returns Due to Change of Mind: If you decide you no longer want the item, you have 30 days to return it. You’ll need to cover the return shipping costs. Make sure the item is unused and still in its original packaging. After we receive and inspect the item , we’ll refund the cost of the item minus the shipping fees.
