Overall good machine

I wish there was a way to turn the spray gun to do curbs. It would be nice to have a brake on it. More videos about the machine would be great, like how to use it, clean it, assemble it, etc.
But for half the cost of the others, I would buy this again.

Probably the BEST Starter Striping Machine

Hi. I decided to purchase my NS4250 after an intense research period. As with most things cost and versatility were the main factors. I've never been impressed with brand names. I was sold after a YouTube video by Chris the Striping Guy reviewed a 4250. I like that it can shoot both water and solvent borne line paint. I like that it has large pneumatic tires which is good for uneven or imperfect surfaces. The gun is of very good quality. The unit seems heavy and stable enough for what it's intended to do. There's only two things I would like to see different. First, having the available rear pivot wheel come standard rather than a $350 option would be nice. Secondly, having a second or even a third spray nozzle would be awesome as it would give you more versatility. The #617 included with the rig, as I understand it is a middle of the road spray tip. The numbers and specs for each spray tips are not hard to understand, and seem to be consistent, but the prices for additional tips are all over the place, even for the same # tips. So it's hard to know what you're getting when ordering random tips from wherever. I also learned that they are not interchangeable to different makes of airless sprayers. So need for caution there. Seems like NS is missing a chance to sell us on their tips. Having two or three options for different spray tips that come standard would be helpful and as noted add a high level of versatility to an already great little machine.

As with all of my big purchases I shop around. I actually purchased the machine from a company in Richmond Texas called Precision Performances. All total the cost was $2828.44 including tax and a $50 new customer discount. Shipping was free. The weird part was that it shipped directly from Newstripe in Aurora Colorado where they are made. That's weird because on the Newstripe website the same exact machine was the exact same features and components sells for $3131.00 plus applicable taxes, and no discounts.
That would have been $3389 and change. That means I got the exact same thing from a competitor for over $560 cheaper than getting it direct from the Newstripe website. I don't understand why that is, but I'll take it. Since it's a brand new NS machine with all documentation, I would assume all I need to is call the company I purchased it from or Newstripe directly to address any warranty issues. Since receiving the machine, I set it up, got it running, primed it, and dialed it in shooting water for practice. Everything worked out as expected. There will be fine adjustments when I start pumping paint through it, but that's to be expected. I'm due to use it commercially for my first line striping job as soon I as receive the traffic paint I ordered. To be sure it's a sizeable purchase, but I'm satisfied with what I received. I only hope it holds up and if any issues arise that require warranty service, their customer service will be as good as what it appears their machine is.
