The PCE RT 1200 Profilometer Surface Roughness Tester is a handheld device designed to measure surface roughness, making it ideal for mobile use. Powered by a rechargeable battery, it is perfect for on-site measurements. Frequently used in laboratories, production environments, and any setting where surface roughness needs to be determined, the device displays measured values on a clear, user-friendly OLED screen. It also has storage for up to 20 measurements, which can later be accessed via the micro USB interface, with the included USB cable and measurement software. The software is especially useful for handling measurement series, as it allows for easy data transfer and on-screen analysis.
The profilometer has a protective cap for the sensor, which protects it from external influences and can be easily screwed to the device. A calibration plate with roughness standard is also part of the standard equipment and serves to check the correctness of the measurement results.
