Available Search Systems in Gold Vision
1 – 3D Ground Scan System
The 3D Ground Scan System is a unique and advanced feature of the Gold Vision device.
This system operates using built-in ground scanning technology through the Smart Sensor probe, which detects variations in magnetic fields caused by metallic targets or underground voids.
The received signals are enhanced using a Signal Booster Dish installed at the front of the device.
All scanned data is transmitted via Bluetooth technology to a dedicated analysis application, where the information is processed and displayed as a 3D graphical model. This application can be installed on any Android-based smartphone or tablet.
Geoground developed this application to provide users with multiple visual analysis tools, allowing them to identify the type, shape, size, and estimated depth of potential targets within the scanned area.
2 – Long Range System
The Long Range System in Gold Vision is developed using a new and distinctive technology that enables detection of deeply buried metal objects and treasures from long distances.
This system offers several customizable search options, including:
- Soil type selection
- Target type selection
- Scan distance range
- Additional advanced settings
The device processes the search operation based on the selected parameters, resulting in more accurate and dependable detection results during the scanning process.
3 – Free Mode System
The Free Mode System operates on a similar principle and technology as the Long Range System.
However, this mode allows the user to manually specify an exact search frequency. This feature makes it possible to match the frequency to a specific metal type, improving accuracy when searching for particular minerals or selected targets.
In this system, the user adjusts the same settings used in the Long Range System—except for target type selection—while also defining the desired frequency value based on the metal being searched.
4 – Smart Depth System
The Smart Depth System is a specialized function designed to estimate the depth of buried targets with a high degree of accuracy.
This system uses a defined method that involves moving the device from the approximate target location in two different directions. The user waits until the antennas rotate more than 70 degrees in each direction, after which the device calculates and displays an estimated target depth.
Note:
The approximate target location is identified using the squaring method. This process involves performing an initial long-range scan from four directions, drawing imaginary lines, and forming a small square with the target positioned at its center. For full details, refer to the user manual.
5 – Ionic System
The Ionic System is based on a completely new technology and represents a major advancement over traditional metal detection systems.
This technology enables precise detection of ionic fields emitted by buried metallic objects, ensuring accurate signal reception and processing.
Ionic fields are detected using the Smart Sensor probe, which is installed in a dedicated port at the front of the main device unit. The probe features LED indicators on its upper surface that change color depending on the detected target type.
During operation, the screen displays two progress bars:
- Top Progress Bar: Indicates signal strength from metallic targets such as gold or iron.
- Bottom Progress Bar: Indicates signal strength from underground voids like tunnels, graves, or cavities.
6 – Bionic System
The Bionic System operates similarly to the Ionic System, with one key difference: the search is target-specific rather than random.
In this system, ionic signals are first captured from a sample metal object, such as a gold coin or silver coin. The device then searches for underground targets emitting similar ionic signals in the surrounding area.
This means the Ionic System performs free and random scanning, while the Bionic System conducts directed searches based on predefined target signals.
The metal type is selected by pointing the Smart Sensor at the sample object before beginning the scan.
During Bionic searches, the display shows a green circular indicator that changes to red once a matching target signal is detected, accompanied by an audible alert from the device’s built-in speaker.
