The T865 is built for comfortable and efficient field inspections, with a 180° rotating optical block, integrated eyepiece viewfinder, and bright 4-inch color IPS touchscreen display. These features allow users to assess critical equipment from different angles and in challenging lighting conditions while helping reduce physical strain during extended inspections.
Advanced measurement capabilities support temperature readings down to -40°C, while laser-assisted autofocus helps deliver precise focus for accurate measurements. The 1-Touch Level/Span feature provides quick thermal contrast enhancement, making temperature differences and potential faults easier to identify.
The camera also includes an onboard Inspection Route system, allowing users to record temperature data and thermal imagery in an organized sequence. Inspection routes can be developed using FLIR Thermal Studio PRO and uploaded to the T865 through Route Creator, helping streamline field inspections, troubleshooting, and reporting.
The 80° lens is particularly useful for wide-area and close-range inspections, with a minimum focus distance of approximately 0.1 m. The T865 can also be paired with other compatible lenses, including FLIR FlexView™ dual field-of-view lenses and a 6° telephoto lens for specialized inspection requirements.
