The FLIR E96-24-14-NIST is an advanced professional thermal imaging camera featuring a high-resolution 640 × 480 infrared detector, interchangeable 24° and 14° AutoCal lenses, and NIST calibration. Designed for electrical, mechanical, building, and industrial inspections, the E96 enables inspectors to survey high-voltage and potentially hazardous targets from a safer distance while quickly identifying electrical and mechanical faults.
The camera combines FLIR UltraMax® and MSX® image enhancement with high thermal sensitivity of <40 mK with the 24° lens and <50 mK with the 14° lens at 30°C (86°F). Its integrated laser distance meter assists with precise focusing and provides information for on-screen area measurements.
The interchangeable AutoCal lenses provide different fields of view for inspection applications. The 14° telephoto lens is suited to distant targets and precise imaging, while the 24° standard lens provides a wider field of view for general-purpose inspections while maintaining a safe working distance from energized equipment.
The E96 also features FLIR Inspection Route, voice and visual annotations, GPS, radiometric video recording, and wireless connectivity to help streamline inspection documentation and reporting.
