I am so upset I wasted my time and money on this. I originally left a one star review which I was asked to take down in exchange for a new item (original review posted below). Prior to receiving the new item, I was given multiple false promises of a full refund and a partial refund and was instead sent a new device.
The new Physiolite was sent with a silicone tip as the metal tip is extremely painful (and not in a shockwave type of pain). I had scratches all over my body from the metal tip being so sharp. The silicone tip helps a bit but doesn’t fix the problem that this item now does not work. I’ve had this a month and have used it less than 5 times! I can use it on Low frequency and briefly on Medium but it does not work on High frequency. If I attempt to use the device starting on Medium or on High it does not power on. It won’t let me attach the video. Do not waste your time or money on this and invest in an actual shockwave device that will work.
Correction to original review: the device is real. I spoke with the distributor from Oceanus and it is real.
Original review:
I am rather upset I wasted my money on this. First of all, the price is much lower since when I purchased it on 3/20/25. So not even a month and the price is $71 cheaper. Second of all, I am almost positive this item is fake. The box it came in was unmarked. The “instruction manual” is poor quality print and clearly replicated. And the item itself (and the charger) is not marked as being Oceanus. The “Rate” and “Time” buttons in the photo are not on the actual item. They are replaced with “F” and “T” which is not shown on any Oceanus product images. And lastly, this thing hurts. I am not talking “shockwave type” pain because I expect that pain. The metal head of this has sharp edges that hurt and irritate mine and my husband’s skin. Doesn’t matter what frequency is used or how much gel is used, the edges of the metal head are sharp and painful. Would not recommend.
