What is an Electromagnetic Field (EMF)?
An Electromagnetic Field (EMF) is a physical field produced by electrically charged objects. It is a fundamental force of nature, combining both an electric field (created by stationary charges) and a magnetic field (created by moving charges, or currents). The strength of the magnetic field is measured in milligauss (mG). Our sauna models are specifically designed with low EMF, with most of our saunas ranging between 6-10mG at a distance of 6-8 inches from the heater panels. We also offer Ultra Low EMF models, which range between 3-5mG at the same distance.
