T-REX® Side Court Portable Basketball System
Bison now offers the T-Rex portable basketball system, designed to meet the needs of all levels of play, from elite international competitions to intramural and recreational use. Featuring industry-leading extension spring counterbalance technology, the T-Rex ensures easy, safe, and fast adjustments for height, as well as hassle-free storage. The system's pivot points are equipped with zero-maintenance, self-lubricating bearings and chrome-plated steel axles for smooth operation. The hidden weight ballast is securely contained in a covered compartment, while the narrow-profile uprights minimize visual interference for fans or media behind the hoop. Floor-friendly 8" x 2" wide casters make it simple to move, with various configurations available depending on the T-Rex model selected. When in transport mode, the T-Rex easily rolls through doorways with a minimum clearance of 84" high and 78" wide.
For some programs, the 5½’ safe play setback of T-Rex Side Court is a great solution. The shorter extension still allows durable, rigid play but requires less room for storage, less space outside the court end line and is a perfect practice or recreational portable. T-Rex Side Court has most of the key design features of its larger T-Rex Competition unit including the same glass backboard, DuraSkin backboard padding and spring assist technology but the reduction in safe play area, the substitution of our traditional BA35S breakaway goal and making the beam padding and rear hold down kit optional make a standard T-Rex Side Court cost up to 10% less than T-Rex Competition. Add ABC50 for custom padding graphics.
