The T-Rex Sport offers the ideal combination of spring-assisted counterbalance technology and effortless rim height adjustment, ranging from 10' down to 7½'. Unlike other spring-assist models that move the backboard closer to the base when the rim is lowered, the T-Rex Sport allows for rim height adjustments while keeping the base in the play position, ensuring a safe play area for young players at lower rim heights. The base is fully padded with 2" thick polyurethane foam on both the sides and front, extending up to a height of 72" for added safety.

At the official 10′ rim height, the approximate safe play area is 50″ and 42″ at 7½’. When lowered for transport and storage, the total storage height is 76″ to fit through most storage room double doors or garage doors.

Choose from 36″ x 60″ clear glass, 36″ x 60″ smoked glass, or 36″ x 60″ clear unbreakable polycarbonate backboard.

Base padding is covered with 16-ounce black leather grain vinyl, but can be ordered in other colors at an additional cost using BA853UP for orders of 2 or more.

The rear enclosed ballast box contains twenty 4″ x 8″ x 16″ solid cap blocks (customer supplied).
