The SRM Rehab Model VersaClimber is a total-body, closed-chain rehabilitation exercise machine, designed to provide one of the most natural and intensity-selective muscular workouts available. The SRM enables continuous arm and leg movement, both seated and standing, offering adjustable stroke lengths, stroke rates, and resistance levels for personalized rehabilitation.

The innovative design allows users to progress through different stages of weight-bearing exercises, from non-weight-bearing to partial and ultimately full-body, weight-bearing activity. The adjustable seat mount provides essential support, ensuring that patients can safely perform exercises while gradually increasing intensity. The Contra-Lateral Movement Pattern mimics natural body movement and is included as a standard feature on the SRM model.

VersaClimber SRM Features

Seated Leg/Arm Exercise: The seated position offers a full-body workout option, allowing users to engage in push/pull movements with the arms, legs, or both simultaneously.
Non-to-Partial-to-Full Weight Bearing: The seat supports the user’s weight, allowing them to start with non-weight-bearing and progress to partial or full-body weight-bearing exercises. Seated Leg Isolator Pegs and straps safely isolate and target one or both legs, promoting focused rehabilitation.
Range of Motion Limitation: Orthopedic travel stops are used to limit the range of motion for injured limbs, helping prevent overstretching and reducing strain.
Adjustable Hand Grips: The running hand grips are designed to accommodate both radial and ulnar deviation, making them ideal for individuals with difficulty pronating or supinating. These grips promote efficient use of the arm's flexors and extensors, and are adjustable for a range of upper body exercises.
Standard Straight Hand Grips: These provide versatile hand positions for exercises targeting the arms, shoulders, chest, and back. Users can actively push or pull with one or both arms or passively move the arms in a controlled range of motion. The grips can also be immobilized for specific rehabilitation exercises. Both types of hand grips—running and straight—are vertically adjustable, accommodating both seated and standing positions.
Heart Rate Monitoring Mode: The SRM model includes heart rate monitoring via personal Polar (or compatible) chest straps or watches. Users can set their target heart rate in the monitor, with intensity adjusted every 30 seconds. This helps patients stay within their prescribed heart rate zone for Phase II and Phase III cardiac rehabilitation. The machine can adjust work intensity to suit patients who are capable of generating at least 2 METs, providing a gradual progression from seated exercises to more demanding full-body climbing.
